Shipping policy

We are located and ship from Grand Rapids, Michigan. At this time, we can ship to anywhere in the 48 contiguous states. Customer pick-up is not available. 

Order Processing:
You will receive an order confirmation with your order number after we have received your order. 

You will receive an email shipping confirmation with a tracking number when the order is fulfilled. Most delivery times in the contiguous United States are within 5 to 7 business days. 

Please take a moment to double-check the shipping address you’ve given us. We want your order to find its way to you without a hitch!   

Delivery cost is calculated at check out. 

Delivery Timing: 
Currently, we are offering ground transportation service levels. Expedited shipping is not available at this time. The transit time from our location in Grand Rapids, Michigan varies based on the destination and your proximity to major metropolitan areas.    

Delivery Types: Our products are delivered in the following ways: 

Front Door Parcel (e.g. UPS, FedEx) to your delivery address. 

Less Than Truckload - for items that exceed parcel shipping weight limits, an LTL carrier will be utilized. These delivery service levels are available: 

Basic by Appointment-Doorstep Delivery:    
Our carrier will call or email you in advance to schedule a day and time to make the delivery within a 2-hour window. After signing for your packages, the driver will leave the packages with you. Moving the package inside, unpacking the package, and assembly are not included. 
Standard-First Level Room Delivery: 
Our carrier will call or email you in advance to schedule a day and time to make the delivery within a 2-hour window. After signing for your packages, the driver will deliver the packages to a first-level room at your delivery location. Unpacking and assembly are not included. 
Premium-Room of Choice Delivery: 
Our carrier will call or email you in advance to schedule a day and time to make the delivery within a 2-hour window. After signing for your packages, the driver will deliver the packages into the room of choice (limited to one flight of stairs up or down), unpack and remove the packaging. Assembly is not included.    Please retain packaging until you have assembled your product.   

 

Delivery Problems:

Damage policy: 

When signing for your delivery, if no problems or issues are noted with your order on the delivery paperwork, you confirm your item was delivered to you as intended and with no damage or defect. 
  • Before signing for your shipment, inspect the packages while the driver is at your location. If you see any damage to the package: 
    • Ask the driver to notate an exception on the delivery receipt. 
    • Take a picture of the damaged packaging. 
    • Ask the driver to unbox the chair to see if the chair is damaged. If the chair is damaged – Refuse delivery and email us at shop@irwinseating.com with your order number, description of the issue, and any photos. 
  • After signing for your shipment, inspect the chair within 2 days of the delivery.    
  • If you discover damage or any other issue email us at shop@irwinseating.com with your order number, description of the issue, and any photos.
